Romeo Beckham has decided to retire from professional football
Romeo Beckham, the second son of David Beckham, has decided to retire from professional football.
In June, Brentford offered Romeo a new contract to keep him in Brentford B, but he decided to leave and end his professional career. A source revealed: “Romeo has decided to hang up his boots and dedicate his time to the fashion industry. “He enjoyed his time at Brentford, but he needs to focus on fashion, which is where his passion lies. “Romeo recently signed with a top fashion agent in Paris and hopes to collaborate with some big brands.” However, Romeo plans to continue supporting Brentford Penguins, a team dedicated to players aged 5 and above with Down syndrome.
Romeo Beckham was born on September 1, 2002, and today is his 22nd birthday. Romeo primarily played as a right winger and made 26 appearances for Inter Miami B, scoring 2 goals and providing 10 assists. In January 2023, Romeo joined Brentford B on loan, where he made 15 appearances and scored 1 goal. In June 2023, Romeo officially transferred to Brentford B and signed a 1+1 year contract.
